Job description

As International HRIS Project Manager, you will lead the deployment and stabilization of the "One HR" landscape across a portfolio of countries, acting as the primary interface between HR business stakeholders, Group IT, local payroll providers, and the Group's systems integration partner. You will be accountable for scope, budget, and schedule on your country portfolio, and for the quality of the solution once in production. You will report to the Group HRIS Director and sit within a team of 9, based at Group HQ in Nanterre.

Key Environment Metrics

  • 74,000 employees, of which ~46,000 are already managed in Employee Central
  • 5 SAP SuccessFactors modules in production: Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals
  • SmartRecruiters deployed for field and technician recruitment in 9 countries (~18,000 applications processed per year)
  • 16 countries live on the target HRIS landscape, 6 countries in active rollout, 6 countries scoped for 2027–2028
  • Integration hub connecting HRIS to 11 local/regional payroll systems and the Group's finance ERP (SAP S/4HANA)
  • Core HRIS team of 9 (Nanterre hub: 6 functional/technical, 2 data & integration, 1 change management), plus a network of ~20 local HR IT correspondents and an external systems integration partner

Primary Objectives & KPIs

  • Deliver 2 to 3 new country go-lives per year across your portfolio, on scope, on budget, and on schedule
  • Maintain data migration accuracy above 99.5% (validated via dual-run payroll parallel testing) for each go-live
  • Achieve post-go-live user adoption above 90% and a support ticket volume below 5% of active users within the first quarter
  • Keep local configuration deviation from the Group template below an agreed threshold, tracked via the design authority backlog
  • Deliver a monthly project steering report and a quarterly business review per country to the Group HRIS Steering Committee
  • Hold project change requests and vendor invoicing within an agreed budget variance for each rollout

You will manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for your country portfolio: business requirements workshops, fit-gap analysis against the Group template, configuration oversight, UAT, data migration and payroll parallel runs, training, go-live, and hypercare. You will coordinate cross-functional, multi-country project teams — HR business partners, local payroll and finance teams, Group IT, and the external SAP SuccessFactors/SmartRecruiters implementation partner — and manage day-to-day relationship and delivery quality with that partner, including reviewing statements of work and change requests. You will arbitrate between global template consistency and legitimate local statutory or collective-bargaining requirements (in liaison with local HR and, where required, works councils), and maintain the functional roadmap and design authority backlog for your modules. You will oversee integration and data migration work streams with payroll, benefits, and finance systems, design and deliver change management and training plans adapted to each local context, and monitor system performance, data quality, and user feedback after go-live, feeding a continuous improvement backlog reviewed monthly with the Group HRIS Steering Committee.
