In this role, you will be the artistic heart of our floral shop, designing stunning arrangements and providing exceptional service to our valued customers. The ideal candidate will combine technical floral expertise with a passion for creating beautiful, memorable designs that bring joy to every occasion.

• Design and create custom floral arrangements for weddings, events, and special occasions using a variety of fresh and seasonal flowers
• Consult with customers to understand their vision, preferences, and budget, offering expert recommendations and creative suggestions
• Maintain and organize inventory of flowers, plants, and floral supplies, ensuring freshness and quality standards
• Prepare flowers for arrangement, including cutting, conditioning, and treating stems to maximize longevity
• Manage point-of-sale transactions and maintain accurate records of orders and customer preferences
• Collaborate with team members to meet order deadlines and ensure consistent quality across all arrangements
• Develop and maintain displays that showcase seasonal flowers and attract customer attention
• Provide care instructions and follow-up support to customers to ensure satisfaction with their purchases
• Stay current with floral design trends and techniques to continuously enhance your creative skill set
• Assist with event coordination and delivery of arrangements when required

• Proven experience as a florist or floral designer with a strong portfolio of work
• Comprehensive knowledge of flowers, plants, and their seasonal availability
• Proficiency in various floral design techniques and arrangement styles
• Strong understanding of color theory and aesthetic principles
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality and precision
• Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships
• Time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple orders and meet deadlines
• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic inventory management
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Preferred: Experience with event coordination or wedding floral design
• Preferred: Knowledge of flower preservation techniques and specialty arrangements
